Responsibilities
- Integration of IASC (Integrated Air System Controller) software.
- Requirements development, management and allocation.
- Design development through logic definition with the supplier.
- Verification and validation of IASC software.
- Analysis of command systems to support requirements development and verification.
- Integration of components and sub‑systems of air systems including IASC, sensors and actuators.
- Preparation and management of test procedures and reports for bench and aircraft tests.
- System‑level coordination of air system requirements and verification planning.
- Support and impact analysis on interfaced systems.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for projects and/or tasks in accordance with engineering policies and procedures such as ARP4754 from system requirements through verification.
- Support software certification.
- Support procedure modification (AFM, FCOM, etc.).
- Change request management and project schedule.
- Supplier management.
Qualifications
- Degree in aerospace, mechanical or systems engineering.
- Experience in air system integration (2–6 years).
- Positive knowledge of software V&V for aerospace control systems (2–6 years).
- Experience with integrated system‑level testing.
- Experience in requirement management.
- Knowledge of ARP4754, especially documentation writing.
- Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and means of compliance.
- Ability to draft test procedures, reports and anomaly reports.
- Autonomy to manage tasks directly with suppliers and client stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Canadian citizenship,
permanent residency or a valid Canadian work authorization is required.
Compensation
Base salary range: $73,556.00 – $125,747.00.
