Work Location:Toronto, Ontario, CanadaHours:37.5Line of Business:FinancePay Details:$96,900 - $136,800 CADEligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.Job DescriptionTheTreasury Manageron theLiquidity Regulatory Compliance & Advisory (LRCA)team plays a key role in ensuring TD's compliance with OSFI liquidity regulations and advising on the interpretation and application of regulatory requirements across the Bank.The role focuses on regulatory compliance assessments, interpretation of guidance, advice on appropriate regulatory treatment for new business or products, and support for strategic enhancements to liquidity regulatory reporting. The team collaborates closely with Liquidity Management teams, Liquidity Risk Analytics & Reporting, Technology, and second line of defence (Risk Management).Key AccountabilitiesPerform ongoing compliance assessments to ensure adherence with liquidity regulatory requirements, including OSFI's Liquidity Adequacy Requirements (LAR) and Guideline B‑6 (Liquidity Risk Management Principles).Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of liquidity regulations, TD's businesses and products, reporting processes, and liquidity risk management frameworks and policies.Assess regulatory compliance across business activities and reporting segments, exercising sound judgment and critical thinking to form defensible conclusions.Collaborate and build strong working relationships with other Liquidity Management teams across Canadian Retail, U.S. Retail, and Wholesale Banking, as well as Liquidity Risk Analytics & Reporting, Technology,
and the second line of defence (Risk Management).Participate in or lead working group meetings to understand liquidity reporting processes, assess changes, and identify potential compliance gaps.Maintain clear, detailed, and audit‑ready documentation of compliance assessments, regulatory interpretations, identified findings, and remediation plans.Act as a risk owner by submitting compliance assessments to the second line of defence, responding to review and challenge, and supporting effective review and challenge of the first line assessments.Serve as a subject matter expert on liquidity regulatory requirements and provide advice on regulatory interpretation, treatment of new business or products, and remediation approaches for identified issues.Support strategic enhancements to liquidity reporting and measurement by reviewing business requirements for new system builds and developing new liquidity measurements or methodologies.Provide ad‑hoc analytical or advisory support to the VP of Liquidity Management or broader Enterprise Liquidity Management team as required.Job RequirementsRelevant experience in Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, Risk Management,
and/or Regulatory Compliance; direct complianceexperience is an asset.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex regulatory requirements, assessing intent, applicability, implications, and conducting research to support defensible interpretations.Excellent written communication skills, including preparation of detailed compliance documentation, regulatory interpretation summaries, and executive‑level materials.Strong organizational and time management skills, managing multiple deliverables and maintaining well‑structured documentation.Robust interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across Liquidity Management, Liquidity Reporting, Technology, and Risk Management.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, comfortable working with large datasets, reconciliations, investigations, and judgment‑based questions.Advanced Excel skills required; knowledge of SQL or Python is an asset.Education & Experience RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in finance‑related fields such as bank treasury, risk management, regulatory compliance, or capital markets; familiarity with liquidity regulations (LCR, NCCF, NSFR) strongly preferred.Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field.Post‑graduate education or professional designations (e.G., CFA) would be an asset.Work activities include highly collaborative work and individual deliverables; individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week.Language Requirement (Quebec only)Sans Objet#J-18808-Ljbffr
