As a Senior Software Engineer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering next generation Android based infotainment platforms.This is an ongoing T4 contract with potential for conversionThis is a hybrid position (4 days onsite)This position offers $69.15/hour, 10 days PTO, 10 paid holidays, medical/retirement contributions (if desired)Top ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain system-level components and applications within AOSP for infotainment systemsLead Android framework and application architecture using Clean Architecture and modern design patternsBuild full-stack Android features across UI, middleware, and framework layers using Java and KotlinOwn features end-to-end and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutionsEstablish and maintain solid quality standards through unit, instrumentation,



and integration testingTroubleshoot complex system-level issues including performance bottlenecks, concurrency, and race conditionsLeverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and software qualityTop Qualifications7+ years of professional software development experience, primarily at the application and system layers3+ years of hands-on experience with Java and 3+ years with KotlinStrong experience with Android platform development, including AOSP and Android framework internalsSolid understanding of software architecture principles and design patternsProven ability to debug complex, multi-layered, distributed systemsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)Able to work in a hybrid environment
