We are looking for a detail-oriented

Payroll Analyst

to support accurate and timely payroll processing for our client. The ideal candidate will have solid attention to detail, good knowledge of payroll processes, and the ability to handle confidential employee information.

Job Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle payroll, including time validation, imports, payroll maintenance, retro calculations, and ROE processing.

Process union payroll and reporting in accordance with collective agreements and apprenticeship programs.

Maintain payroll records and coordinate with HR on employee levels and retroactive increases.

Process journal entries, GL reconciliations, payroll filings, and month/year-end reporting.

Prepare T4s, T2200s, payroll reconciliations, and support internal/external audits.





Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain accurate employment records.

Skills and Qualifications

University Degree or college diploma in Business, Accounting, Payroll, or a related field is required.

PCP certification is required.

1–5 years of full-cycle payroll experience; unionized experience is an asset.

Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.

Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.

Experience with Jonas payroll system is an asset.
