Based in Courtenay, the PHB Group focuses on privately held businesses in the region.ResponsibilitiesLeading and executing client engagements under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors, but with a focus on Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).Contributing to current business development by understanding all Doane Grant Thornton services and using your credibility in the field.Acting as a leader by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan.Maximizing engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources.Analysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, compilations, reviews and special reports.Planning and leading teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded.Supervision and mentoring of an accounting team, including the review of files.Engaging,
