The Section of Hepatology within the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Manitoba invites applications for a faculty position starting July 1, 2026. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in clinical liver disease management and a focus on research that enhances care delivery in Manitoba. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee patient care in a busy liver disease program • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education • Develop research initiatives in liver disease epidemiology • Share insights with fellow academic hepatologists • Drive changes in patient care models
Requirements: • Extensive clinical management experience in liver disease • Preference for Hepatology certification from the Royal College • Must register with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba • Senior qualifications in internal medicine and hepatology required • PRA Manitoba eligibility may apply for some candidates
