You will be a part of building Canada’s next leading technology integrator and we are committed to growing together!Position OverviewKendrix is seeking an experienced Lead Technician to lead the on‑site delivery of integrated security projects throughout the Lower Mainland.This is a senior, hands‑on field leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation execution,
technical troubleshooting, site coordination, and mentoring technicians, while acting as the primary technical authority on assigned job sites. This position reports to the Operations Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Project Execution (Primary Focus)- Follow Citiloc Systems Ltd standards, policies, and safety procedures- Lead and perform installation of:- Access control systems- Intrusion detection systems- Video surveillance systems- Entry intercom systems- Building automation systems- Parking control systems- Electronic locking hardware (electric strikes, magnetic locks, panic hardware)- Structured cabling- EMT / PVC / Wiremold conduit- Automatic doors, gates, and operators- Integrate security systems across platforms as required- Perform system configuration, software installation, firmware upgrades, and testing- Work from ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts- Attend and participate in site meetings- Coordinate with other trades on active job sitesNetworking / Systems Support- Configure and support security system networks (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)- DHCP and Dynamic DNS configuration- Router, firewall,
