In this vital role, you will evaluate and execute resident care routines under the guidance of the Director of Care. Your responsibilities will include direct supervision of Care Aides, medication administration, and maintaining health records, all within a culture of respect and dignity for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care and maintain proper records
• Safely assist with resident mobility and transfers
• Utilize personal protective equipment for infection control
• Monitor vital signs and chart changes in resident conditions
• Guide and evaluate Care Aides in their daily duties
Requirements:
• Registered with the British Columbia College of Nursing
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Leadership skills to support staff and volunteers
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Ability to operate nursing equipment safely
