The Director will operate at both a strategic and operational level partnering with SLP leadership, clinical teams, and support services to drive sustainable change while maintaining service quality and stability.QualificationsEducation and Professional CertificationMaster’s degree in Human Services, Health Administration, Business, or related field (preferred)Experience6+ years of progressive leadership experience in human services, healthcare, or social servicesDemonstrated experience leading large‑scale change initiatives or program transformationExperience in supportive group living, disability, or community‑based services is a strong asset.Skills and CharacteristicsStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, consult,
drive results and hold accountability.Balances strategic thinking with operational detailBuilds alignment across diverse stakeholdersMaintains focus on outcomes while supporting people through changeStrong strategic planning and execution capabilityDeep understanding of change management methodologiesAbility to translate high-level strategy into operational executionStrong financial and systems thinking (ability to understand funding models and operational impacts)Advanced decision making and problem-solving skills.Strong written and oral communication with effective presentation skills.Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.Emotional competence, self-awareness, and ability to regularly self-reflect.Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.A commitment to professional development.Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Roadmap Development.Translate the SLP Program Review into a phased implementation plan.Define clear priorities, sequencing, and dependencies across recommendations.Establish measurable outcomes, KPIs, and success indicators.Align workplan with organizational strategy, funding realities, and operational capacity.Lead execution of the approved workplan across all SLP programs.Coordinate efforts across Directors, Program Managers, Clinical Consultants,
and support services.Ensure consistent application of changes across programs (not site-specific variation).Identify and remove barriers to implementation in real time.Change Management and EngagementDevelop and execute a change management strategy to support adoption.Engage leaders and staff to build understanding, alignment, and ownership.Ensure changes are implemented in a way that maintains psychological safety and staff engagement.Support leaders in translating changes into day-to-day practice.Governance and AccountabilityEstablish clear governance structures, including decision-making pathways and escalation processes.Provide regular progress reporting to the VP of Group Living treatment services.Track deliverables, timelines, risks, and outcomes.Ensure accountability at all levels for implementation progress.Operational & Practice AlignmentSupport improvements related to:Person-centered care consistency.Role clarity and staffing model alignment.Program design and continuum of care.Funding model considerations and sustainability.Stakeholder and System AlignmentLiaise with internal and external stakeholders as required (e.G., funders, partners).Support strengthening of SLP’s value proposition and sector positioning.Ensure alignment between operational changes and funder expectations.Additional RequirementsThe incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.The salary range for this position is $116,208.52 to $157,238.57 depending on experience.For more information please contact Pam Dmytriw at
