Overview:

Our banking client is seeking an

Intermediate Scrum Master

to support the stand-up of a new Agile team and coach the team in the effective adoption of Scrum practices.

The ideal candidate will have previous

banking experience

and demonstrated experience being directly involved in

building and launching a new Agile/Scrum team , rather than only supporting an established team.

Responsibilites:

Support the stand-up and launch of a recent Agile/Scrum team.

Coach the team on Scrum theory, Agile practices, and effective ways of working.

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support ongoing sprint execution.

Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog delivery and prioritization.

Help identify and remove impediments affecting team delivery.

Facilitate collaboration across development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.

Monitor team progress and support continuous improvement.

Help ensure Scrum principles and practices are understood and applied effectively.

Support change and Agile adoption across the team.

Operate within the bank's risk management and governance framework.

Must Haves

5-7+ years of relevant Scrum Master / Agile experience.

Demonstrated experience

helping stand up a new Agile/Scrum team .

Experience supporting a net-new product/platform build

Previous

banking or financial services experience .

Strong knowledge of

Scrum and Agile frameworks and practices .

Experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams.

Strong understanding of the

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) .

Experience working with Product Owners, development teams, and business stakeholders.

Strong communication, facilitation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Haves

Experience supporting

Data or AI products .

Commercial Banking or TPS experience.

Release management experience.
