Elk Valley Resources is seeking a Mining Engineer or Engineer-in-Training to report to the Senior Engineering Supervisor. This role involves designing pit, spoil, and haul road layouts while considering environmental impacts, as well as strategic planning. Ideal for self-motivated engineers eager to work collaboratively and improve mining operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute mine planning deliverables and designs • Perform production scheduling based on KPIs • Conduct economic evaluations and strategic assessments • Communicate mine projects with permitting groups • Assist with mine permit applications and compliance
Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering or related field • Eligible for registration with EGBC • Proficiency in mine scheduling and design software • Solid Microsoft Office skills • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
