What will you do?

- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Follow safety guidelines (as per our Safety Manual)
- Meet quality standards (as per our Quality Manual
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers
- Operate lathe and mill to manufacture custom or maintenance parts.
- Measure and examine specifications using mathematics, micrometers and vernier calipers
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications
- Write basic programs for custom product lines




- Ensure parts are machined in a timely manner to meet production requirements

What do you need to succeed?

- Grade 12 education or equivalent (required)
- Saskatchewan journeyperson machinist certificate, or equivalent
- 1 year accumulated manual/CNC machine shop experience
- Capable of accurately reading calipers, micrometers, protractors and tape measures
- Take accurate measurements and data recording
- Mathematical skills to include fractions, decimals and metric system
- Familiarity with basic tools and mechanically inclined
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Adequate reading and writing skillsAbility to read and comprehend blueprints, engineering plans, work orders, and specifications
