As a specialist, you will ensure the enforcement of Shelter policies while supporting residents and providing necessary resources to those in need. You’ll need to demonstrate a commitment to empowerment and effective communication, making a positive impact on clients’ lives through your actions. Full availability for shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly support residents while enforcing Shelter rules
• Communicate with non-residents seeking Shelter services
• Ensure the maintenance of a clean and safe environment
• Provide clients with educational resources and safety information
• Exhibit healthy role modeling and set effective boundaries
Requirements:
• Certificate in human services or three years’ relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Certifications in First Aid & CPR and Safe Food Handling
• Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License with a clean background
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 24/7
