Our client, a well-established and growing engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen the firm’s financial operations and provide leadership across core accounting functions, including receivables, payables, and cash management.This position offers a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role, oversee a dedicated team, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to enhance processes and drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment- Oversee the firm’s cash management and treasury function, including liquidity planning and monitoring cash flow- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of billing, collections, and vendor payments within a project-based, professional services environment- Support and enhance billing processes tied to project work and time-based revenue recognition- Drive process improvements and system efficiencies across AR/AP and treasury operations- Partner with leadership to provide insights into working capital, cash flow trends,
