Elevate your career as a Laboratory Technologist I with the Edmonton Zone Anatomic Pathology team, primarily located at Sturgeon Hospital. This role emphasizes specialized procedures and offers a unique chance to engage in demanding lab processes.

In this full-time role, you will apply your skills in specimen processing, testing, and results analysis within a supportive team. Your responsibilities will include grossing, specimen prep, and assisting with vital intraoperative consults at multiple sites such as the University of Alberta Hospital and Cross Cancer Institute. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:



• Perform routine and specialized Anatomical Pathology procedures • Conduct grossing and specimen preparation • Assist with intraoperative consults efficiently • Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot instruments • Teach students and support laboratory training

Requirements: • Completion of accredited MLT program • Registration with CMLTA or eligible • Recent Anatomic Pathology and grossing experience • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
