Verify the condition of fire suppression systems, including installation compliance and component locations Test, replace, and repair system components Perform mechanical and electrical tests required to certify proper system operation Assess equipment, work environments, and operating conditions Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and product or operational manuals Review plans, customer requests, code requirements,
and non-conformance issues to determine appropriate solutions Install systems according to manufacturer specifications Validate system operation following installation Prepare stock materials for assigned work orders and manage material usage Complete daily reports for work orders and activities Follow protected work practices and demonstrate safety leadership Mentor trainees and other field service team members Participate in 24/7 on-call and emergency service as required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of field experience across various industries preferred Diploma in a mechanical trade preferred Valid driver’s licence required Fire service certifications and/or fire suppression training considered an asset Related combinations of education and experience will be considered Candidates advancing through the hiring process will be required to provide a current Certificate of Conduct and Driver’s Abstract Salary Rate:
$19.00 to $25.00 per hour Hours Per Week:
