Our client, a well-established civil construction firm with operations across the Lower Mainland, is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join their team in Surrey, BC. This role offers a clear path to grow into a Project Manager position for the right individual.Key Responsibilities:- Support the execution of civil construction projects from start to closeout, assisting with schedule, budget, and safety tracking.- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to ensure smooth project delivery.- Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support planning and execution.- Manage project administration including RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and progress billing.- Support procurement of materials and subcontractors, including issuing POs and tracking costs.- Track project progress, quantities, and unit costs, identifying and flagging any variances.- Attend site meetings, take minutes, and help maintain clear communication between stakeholders.- Conduct regular site visits to support coordination and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.- Assist with project closeout documentation including deficiencies, turnover packages, and completion certificates.Ideal Candidate Requirements:- 2+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator role within civil construction,
