Client Details Our client is a well known and well established ICI focused General Contractor focusing mainly on Corporate and Institutional recent builds and renovations.

Description Reporting to the Lead Estimator, the successful candidate will be involved in all estimating activities for the organisation. You will successfully track down project leads turning them into bidding opportunities, solicit pricing from trade partners and develop detailed budgets and competitive bids and proposals to meet the objective of continued and sustainable growth of the Company.

Responsibilities

Recommend and implement winning tendering strategies.

Produce detailed quantity take-offs and price labour, material and equipment portions of estimates.

Qualify bidding and prequalification opportunities.

Analyze project risk and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Manage the estimating and tender closings.

Foster and maintain positive relationships and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.

Skills & Experience

Have at least 3 (three) years experience as an estimator.

At least 3 years construction experience in ICI construction estimating.





Hold a relevant professional degree (engineering (P.Eng) etc.).

Have experience in estimating LEED projects.

Have knowledge of local market conditions.

Direct estimating experience in the capacity of Estimator of Mid-large Institutional, Commercial, Industrial projects valued between $1 million and $60 million.

Be eligible for security clearances and possess a valid driver's license.

Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Project or Primavera scheduling software and industry‑leading estimating/quantity takeoff software.
