TTM Technologies is seeking an Environmental Technician for Waste Management to ensure productive operation of waste treatment systems. This role operates in a challenging 24/7 manufacturing environment.
As a Waste Water Treatment Technician, you will handle a variety of specialized equipment and be involved in collecting data while adhering to safety protocols. Maintenance of environmental control devices and managing hazardous materials will be key aspects of your daily tasks. Your work will contribute directly to maintaining TTM's commitment to environmental excellence, with shifts from Wednesday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor Ion Exchange and RO water systems • Clean and calibrate monitoring equipment • Manage chemical inventory related to waste operations • Perform safety audits for hazardous waste practices • Handle shipping documentation for waste management
Requirements: • Basic chemistry education or equivalent experience required • One year of environmental/safety experience preferred • Previous wastewater treatment experience is a plus • Lift a minimum of 50lbs regularly • Achieve forklift certification within 90 days
