Infrastructure Project Manager Client: A top Canadian Bank Terms: 6 months, possibility to extend Location: Hybrid – Downtown – 1 day a week Rate: $50-60/Hr (T4) Overview: We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to support a portfolio of small to medium complexity infrastructure and cloud‑implicated projects within a highly governance‑driven environment. This role is ideal for a PM with end‑to‑end delivery experience in banking or financial‑services environments, strong documentation, reporting, and compliance practices. Key Responsibilities Manage small to medium‑sized projects from initiation through delivery. Execute project governance activities, including maintaining project plans, status reports, and RAID logs; preparing and circulating formal meeting minutes; ensuring requiredproject artifacts and documentation are completed and up to date. Provide clear, structured status reporting to stakeholders. Raise and manage change requests and tickets (ServiceNow exposure preferred). Monitor and report on project financials, including tracking and variance awareness. Work closely with internal partners, including Centre of Excellence (CoE), other project managers, and technology and delivery teams. Support governance spot‑checks and compliance reviews as required. Participate in onboarding activities while remaining resourceful and proactive. Project Environment Projects small to medium in scope and complexity. Financial oversight is required but less complex than large enterprise programs. Many initiatives are cloud‑implicated; the role is not overly cloud‑heavy. Strong emphasis on process, governance, and documentation, not delivery‑only PM work.
Required Experience & Skills Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end IT infrastructure or technology projects. Strong understanding of project governance frameworks.Experience producing status reports, RAID logs, meeting minutes, and project schedules. Hands‑on experience with Excel and Microsoft Project; Power BI or similar tools for reporting. Experience working in financial services or banking environments is a strong advantage. Ability to understand technical concepts and grasp the “why” behind the work, even if not deeply technical. Comfortable operating in a structured, process‑driven organization. Nice‑to‑Have / Assets Exposure to ServiceNow. Experience working on cloud‑related projects. Familiarity with AI‑assisted tools for documentation or meeting minutes.
