The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking skilled and self-motivated workers for auxiliary positions setting up gymnastics equipment and teaching Gymnastics & Trampoline in our recreation programs. Queen’s Park Sportsplex offers progressive skill-based lessons for participants 2.5 years to adults. If you have the following characteristics and qualifications, we want to hear from you:



At least 15 years of age Experience setting up and moving gymnastics equipment and trampolines Experience working with children in a recreation setting Strong gymnastics or trampoline background Ability to work effectively within a team setting Ability to prepare and execute daily lesson plans Ability to give written evaluations of students Ability to successfully pass and maintain a clear Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Check Previous related experience or course work within the field or recreation or teaching experience will be given priority. *Applicants must be available for Saturday morning equipment set-up We offer our employees great work-life balance, including competitive salaries, comprehensive health and wellness benefits and retirement plans (a percentage in lieu of benefits for auxiliary positions).
