Contribute to public policy efforts with Ontario Teachers’ Government Relations and Public Affairs team. This internship focuses on legislative analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategic recommendations for enhanced advocacy.
As an intern, you will support the GPA team in analyzing resources and preparing concise materials for senior leaders. The position involves connecting with various asset classes to gather feedback and monitoring regulatory changes that impact the Fund’s operations. This role emphasizes collaboration with GPA colleagues in Toronto and London to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist GPA team in research and analysis of initiatives • Prepare presentation materials and briefing notes for leadership • Connect with partners for input on strategic initiatives • Monitor legislative changes and suggest impacts on the Fund • Attend meetings with government stakeholders
Requirements: • Enrolled in a degree program in relevant fields • Solid interest in politics and policymaking • Proficient in MS Office applications • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
