Montreal, QC Position Type:

6-Month Contract Pay Rate:

$35–$38/hour T4

Monday- Friday Day shift

Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced

HRIS Analyst

to join their HR Analytics & Insights team. This role will support HR stakeholders and IT teams across the organization and will be responsible for the

support, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of HR technology systems .

The successful candidate will serve as an HRIS subject matter expert, helping improve workflows, automate processes, enhance data integration, and ensure HR systems provide accurate and reliable information for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management

Lead HRIS projects and initiatives in partnership with HR, IT, and business teams.

Act as the primary liaison between IT, end users, and project teams.

Support the full

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , including requirements gathering, functional design, implementation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Assess and prioritize HRIS projects based on business impact, scalability, and available resources.

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, automate workflows, and reduce manual work.

Collaborate with local and global HR/IT teams to align systems and processes with organizational standards.

Systems Administration & Technical Support

Provide advanced technical support to HR professionals and end users.

Troubleshoot complex HRIS data issues, system problems,



and interface failures.

Implement corrective actions and elevate critical issues when required.

Ensure HRIS activities and data handling comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Work with IT to manage development backlogs, priorities, and system enhancements.

Support the administration of specialized HR applications.

Audit employee lifecycle data, including hires, transfers, and terminations.

Data Integrity & Analytics

Maintain a high level of HR data accuracy through data analysis, reconciliations, and integrity audits.

Develop and use queries and reports to validate employee information and support business needs.

Support system configuration changes and large-scale employee record updates.

Manage data uploads and perform reconciliations between

PeopleSoft HCM

and related systems, including Payroll and Compensation platforms.

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of HRIS experience.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with software lifecycle testing and UAT.

Experience with HRIS systems;

PeopleSoft HCM preferred .

Solid written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience developing, enhancing, and troubleshooting

PeopleSoft Queries .

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
