We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent/ Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum of 5 years experience required. Must have worked in the GTA for at least 5 years. Must be fluent in english. Must be able to interpret construction drawings. Ability to multi task. A clean drivers abstract is required.. Some weekend work required when needed

MUST HAVE ALL YOUR SAFETY CERTIFICATES

Own transportation a must.

Duties:

Lead daily operations on construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using or similar construction management software to track progress and adjust plans proactively

Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify that work aligns with design specifications

Manage project budgets by monitoring cost, reviewing contracts, and implementing effective cost control measures using estimating tools

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and contractual requirements





Supervise on-site personnel, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment

Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and project updates using construction management software like

Must have all updated safety certificates.

Ability to set up projects from demolition to completion

Own transportation

Company vehicle

Skills:

Extensive experience in construction site management with a proven track record of supervising projects

Solid understanding of contracts, construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling techniques

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately

Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively and foster collaboration

Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams

Experience:

Construction in Ontario: 5 years (required)

Construction management: 5 years (required)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (required)

Licence/Certification:

Class G Licence (required)

safety certs fall arrest, WHMIS, CPR etc.. (required)
