Cloud Nine Cannabis is looking for a reliable, experienced and highly trustworthy Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of one of our retail locations.

This is a full-time, hands-on management position for someone who enjoys leading a team, takes pride in running a strong store, and can be counted on to follow through when something needs to get done.

Previous management and retail experience are highly valued.

Just as importantly, we are looking for someone we can build a strong level of trust with. The Store Manager is given significant responsibility for staff, inventory, cash handling, store operations and maintaining Company standards, so reliability, honesty, sound judgment and discretion are essential.

The Store Manager works closely with our General Manager and Director of Retail Operations. Senior management provides the overall direction, policies and priorities of the business, while the Store Manager is responsible for implementing those expectations consistently at the store level.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting wage: $26.50/hour

Approximately

72 paid hours biweekly , with additional hours where operationally required

Up to 45 minutes of paid breaks during a standard 8-hour shift

A standard 8-hour paid shift therefore includes approximately

7 hours 15 minutes of active working time

At a workplace with a comparable 45-minute unpaid break, you would generally need to be at work for approximately

8 hours 45 minutes to receive 8 hours of pay

On that basis,

$26.50/hour with our paid-break structure is comparable to approximately $29.24/hour at a job with an equivalent unpaid break

4% vacation pay is paid in addition to regular wages , bringing that comparable value to approximately

$30.41/hour

Extended health and dental benefits, subject to plan eligibility

Opportunity for wage growth based on performance and experience

Strong-performing managers may be considered for additional performance or long-term retention incentives after approximately 6–12 months

Support from a General Manager and Director of Retail Operations

What You'll Do As Store Manager, you will be responsible for keeping the location properly staffed, organized,



compliant and operating consistently to Company standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing day-to-day store operations

Supervising, supporting and directing store employees

Implementing direction and priorities from senior management

Creating, maintaining and adjusting employee schedules based on staffing levels, availability and operational needs

Ensuring appropriate staffing and shift coverage

Hiring, training and onboarding employees as required

Managing employee performance and workplace concerns

Coordinating employee schedules, vacation requests and coverage

Maintaining strong customer-service and store-presentation standards

Ensuring inventory accuracy and product availability

Maintaining regulatory and Company compliance

Managing opening, closing, cash and daily operational procedures

Completing required paperwork, checklists and administrative duties

Coordinating supplies, maintenance and other store needs

Handling customer concerns and escalated situations professionally

Participating in meetings, promotions, events and Company initiatives

Communicating staffing and operational concerns promptly to senior management

Covering vacant shifts when necessary to maintain uninterrupted store operations

Reliability & Management Coverage Reliable management coverage is a core responsibility of this position.

Cloud Nine has maintained consistent scheduled business hours for

over 10 years , and our management team plays an important role in maintaining that standard.

If an unexpected absence occurs, the Store Manager is expected to arrange appropriate coverage where possible. If suitable coverage cannot be secured, the Store Manager must be prepared to personally cover the opening, closing or shift required to keep the store operating as scheduled.





We understand that everyone has commitments outside of work. At the same time,

this position is best suited to someone with the flexibility and availability to make their management responsibilities a priority when the store genuinely needs them.

Evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional additional shifts are part of the position.

polished, professional cannabis retail environment .

Our stores are intended to be welcoming, clean, organized and professionally presented.

We take pride in maintaining consistent standards and creating an workplace where customers feel comfortable asking questions and receiving knowledgeable service. The Store Manager is expected to represent those standards and ensure the team does the same.

What We're Looking For Experience is highly valued for this position.

Cannabis retail experience is an asset, but we are also very interested in candidates with strong management, supervisory or retail leadership experience who can learn our systems and the cannabis industry thoroughly.
