GeoTech Innovations is seeking a skilled Geospatial Data Analyst to join our Kimberley team. This role involves analyzing spatial data, creating detailed maps, and supporting projects related to land use planning, environmental impact assessments, and disaster risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative solutions for clients across multiple sectors in South Africa. Key Responsibilities
Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data using GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS). Create interactive maps and visualizations for client presentations and reports. Conduct spatial analysis to support urban planning and environmental monitoring projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial insights into project workflows. Maintain and update geodatabases with accurate and up-to-date information. Required Skills
Proficiency in GIS software and remote sensing tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Python or SQL for data automation. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, or related field. Postgraduate qualifications in GIS or data science are advantageous. Experience
3-5 years of experience in geospatial data analysis or related roles. Proven track record in delivering geospatial solutions for environmental or urban projects. Salary
40,000 – 55,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits
