Join 360°kids as a Child and Youth Worker in Markham, ON, providing crucial support for at-risk youth in the SHINE Program. Your hands-on approach will empower youth through life skills training and advocacy.
This contract position until December 2026 involves supporting youth aged 15-19 facing housing crises. You are required to possess a post-secondary degree in a related field and have a minimum of three years of experience working with marginalized youth. Your role will include hands-on mentoring, crisis management, and regular life skills programming as part of a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities: • Create a welcoming,
safe setting for all youth • Provide ongoing life skills support and informal counselling • Facilitate programming that prepares youth for independence • Oversee medication administration and compliance • Maintain documentation and case management for youths
Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field • Minimum three years of experience with at-risk youth • Current First Aid/CPR certification • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training an asset • Clean record check and valid driver’s license required
