Job Description
- Tasked withperforming upkeep and repairs on customer vehicles.
- Utilize thediagnostic tools to find automotive issues.
- Deliver excellentcustomer service while outlining automotive repairs andproblems.
- Uses charts,manuals, and experience, plan repairprocedures.
- Test thecomponents' and systems'functionality.
- Perform fundamentalauto maintenance and care procedures like fluid level checks,tire rotations, and oil changes.
- Brake pads, wheelbearings, sensors, and other components can be repaired andreplaced.
- Conduct standardupkeep and general mechanical work onvehicles.
- Ready to acquireadditional certification if necessary.
- willingness to learnthrough practical experience.
- Ensure that therepair shop is organized andclean.
Requirements
- Experiencerepairing cars and engines or auto mechanic educationis required.
- Required are ASEcertifications.
- Possess an activedriver's license.
- Completed anassociate's degree program in auto repair andmaintenance.
- Possess the abilityto conduct oneself professionally and offer helpfulcustomer service.
- To keep accuraterecords, one must read, interpret, and transcribedata.
- Carry out regularupkeep and other tasks in a hurriedsetting.
- May lift up to 50 lb.of weight in objects.
- Requires a highschool diploma or itsequivalent.
- Lube technicianexperience, or be willing to undergo on-the-jobtraining.
- Knowledge of car airconditioning systems.
- Possibility of usingthe diagnostic tools.
- Diesel engineknowledge, heavy equipment experience, diesel mechanicexperience, or the willingness to undergo on-the-jobtraining.
- Positive hand-eyecoordination.
