Volunteer Opportunity

We are looking for volunteers to support our Children's Summer Program from July 6, 2025 to August 28, 2026.

Opportunity Details

Chance type: Ongoing – Start Anytime

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11 am to 6 pm (additional after‑hours and weekend shifts available). A minimum of 10 hours per week is required.

Shift Options

- 11 am – 6 pm
- 11 am – 2 pm
- 2 pm – 6 pm

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Set up and clean up activities
- Monitor children and youth
- Assist with daily tasks
- Facilitate games, interactive games, crafts, trips, and community events
- Food preparation
- Maintain community garden
- Expect to spend outdoors 70–80 % of the season




- Participate in trips twice a week

Requirements

- Must know how to swim and be willing to get in water
- Police reference check (must be in place by the start date)
- CPR certification
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
