as amended from time to timeAssist with cross training and job shadowing in all areas within the departmentConsider health & safety as a primary concern to ensure the overall well-being of yourself and othersPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills And QualificationsCompletion of Grade 12 or equivalent5+ years Credit Union/other Financial Institution experience specific to dealer finance loans with a minimum of 1-2 years proven experience in non-prime lendingAbility to interpret rate sheets, and experience in pricing in a non-prime environmentCompetent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and equivalent banking and lending platformsProven experience reviewing loans within assigned Letter of Authority including higher risk based lending limitsWork within established departmental hours including Saturdays and extended hours to meet Member service needsStrong understanding of credit lending and loan proofing with experience in near and non prime lendingMust have superior interpersonal communication and negotiation skillsInherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and trustworthinessMust be able to work well with minimum supervisionAbility to effectively problem solve to find creative and beneficial solutionsAbility to work in a high volume fast paced environment while being flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesBe able to take action in difficult and challenging situations and deal with uncertaintyAbility to identify and mitigate enterprise risk factors and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legislation and FirstOntario policies and proceduresOur inclusive work environment welcomes diversity and supports accessibility.
