Position Title: Business ConsultantStart Date: May 4, 2026End Date: November 3, 2026Duration: ~6 monthsExtension: PossibleFTE Conversion: PotentialWorking Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMLocation: Toronto – Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite; Thursday collaboration day)Pay Rates:- T4 - $68.74- INC - $78.72Key Responsibilities- Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Office, Finance, Market Risk, Global Middle Office, Back Office, and Technology teams- Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into functional reporting and application enhancements- Elicit and document requirements, risks, and priorities to define scope clearly- Perform current-state, target-state, gap, and impact analysis- Validate proposed solutions and ensure alignment with business requirements and testing strategies- Support solution design reviews and contribute to project planning activities- Investigate and resolve production issues, including data/file errors- Liaise with downstream teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery- Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive alignment on feasible solutionsMust-Have Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in a Business Consultant / Business Analyst / similar role- Strong expertise in requirements gathering,



analysis, and solution design methodologies- Proven ability to analyze complex technical and business problems- Experience with data modeling, static data, and data repositories- Hands-on SQL/Oracle skills (querying, table creation, performance optimization)- Solid Capital Markets experience (e.G., MBS, Securitization, Fixed Income)- Exposure to U.S. Whole Loans within Capital Markets- Experience supporting both business and IT environments- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setting and pivot as needed- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language- Professional presence with confidence in stakeholder interactions- Proactive, curious, and highly engaged approach to work- Demonstrated career stability with strong tenure in previous rolesNice-to-Have- Front-end experience with securitization tools- Background in retail mortgage environments (fast-paced lending environments considered an asset)- Relevant degree (Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Math) or MBA/MSInterview Process- Round 1: Hiring Manager- Round 2: Supervising Manager
