Position Type: ContractDuration: Initial 6-month contractLocation: Preference towards Toronto (Mississauga, ON) but open to other office locations across Canada such as Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal.Working Model: 4 Days per week in officePay Rate: $25 / HR (T4 Contract)About the RoleAkkodis is partnered with a leading organization in the aerospace and defense sector to hire a Junior Industrial Security Agent to support government-regulated projects from a security and compliance perspective.This is an excellent entry point for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in security, risk, and compliance within a highly regulated setting.You’ll work closely with internal teams and external government bodies to help ensure projects meet strict security requirements, while supporting documentation, coordination, and approval processes across the project lifecycle.What You’ll Be DoingSupport compliance with Canadian government security programs, including the Contracts Security Program (CSP) and Controlled Goods Program (CGP)Assist in preparing and maintaining Project Security Plans and security documentationCoordinate and track security clearances, visit requests, and access to facilities and systemsLiaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies such as CSIS and RCMP to support project approvalsMonitor project security requirements and flag risks that could impact timelines or complianceSupport audits, inspections, and reporting related to physical security, document control, and classified information handlingAssist with bid and proposal processes by ensuring security requirements are properly capturedMaintain accurate records of personnel clearances, documentation,
