Type of position: Regular Your future role on our team As an air quality engineer and project manager, you’ll play a crucial role in the success of air quality management, air emission and GHG calculations, environmental compliance and regulatory approvals, atmospheric dispersion modelling, and ambient air quality assessment and monitoring. You’ll be required to lead various engineering phases and participate in air quality aspects of permit applications and sector studies. In particular, you’ll work closely with BBA’s multidisciplinary teams to help quantify atmospheric contaminant emissions, establish GHG emission inventories, measure the impact of industrial activities on ambient air quality and prepare technical reports. Support and be involved in the growth of a dynamic team of engineers, scientists and technologists working in the industrial atmospheric emissions sector Obtain environmental permits and approvals from Québec and other Canadian regulatory authorities Lead atmospheric dispersion modelling studies Assess and select equipment for controlling atmospheric emissions Propose solutions to manage GHGs and other pollutants Write technical reports and perform engineering calculations Lead site work Manage and lead projects to ensure technical quality and financial performance Maintain relationships with clients and ensure technical discussions Contribute to marketing and business development to enhance the diversity and productivity of the BBA team Lead and help prepare proposals, manage projects and engage in business development within the Air Quality team Promote expertise to a variety of industrial markets Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?
