Worley is seeking a Lead Process Engineer focused on SAGD projects in Edmonton, Alberta. Take charge of engineering activities, manage teams, and ensure quality deliverables for critical energy projects.
In this full time role, you will provide technical leadership and coordination for process engineering on SAGD and thermal oil sands projects. Your expertise will guide projects from initial studies through to commissioning and start-up phases. You'll oversee multidisciplinary interfaces while mentoring junior engineers, ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead SAGD process engineering activities from concept to execution
• Manage process engineering deliverables and project scope
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs;,



and engineering documentation
• Participate in client meetings and risk assessments
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
• P.Eng. designation required
• Extensive SAGD experience within the oil and gas sector
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with Aspen HYSYS and process engineering tools
