Job Description
- Building goods on anassembly line in accordance with schematics, plans, orinstructions.
- Make sure thatoperations function smoothly, adhere to approved safety andefficiency norms.
- Checking goods forerrors or flaws.
- Putting parts of theproduct on the assembly line and boxing up the finished productfor storage.
- If equipmentmalfunctions or a significant flaw is found, stopping theassembly line and halting output is necessary.
- Keeping track ofmechanical changes and fixes.
- Reporting tomanagement any problems, poor performance, or flaws inthe final output.
- To learn about thespecs for products and services, read blueprints, plans, andspecifications.
- Measure theproduct's size, go at its functionality, and contrast itwith the requirements.
Requirements
- A high school diplomaor other equivalency.
- 2 years or more ofexperience operating an assembly line.
- Familiarity withassembly techniques and production equipment.
- Excellentunderstanding of the rules and procedures for productionsafety.
- Ability to read andcomprehend schematics, blueprints, and technicaldrawings.
- Ability to workefficiently under pressure in a busy setting.
- Having the physicalstamina and strength to move big objects and stand for extendedperiods of time.
- Positive math andtechnical skills.
