If innovation drives you, and you want a career that makes a difference to the world, helping humanity overcome the challenges in our oceans - safely, efficiently, and sustainably - then come join us at Kraken Robotics.Kraken Robotics is currently recruiting for an Intermediate Electrical Technologist at our Dartmouth, NS office.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components for various projects.- Assist in the testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.- Designing wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.- Assisting electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and product designers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other components.- Developing test plans and procedures, conducting testing,
and performing validation to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.- Participate in the design review process.- Review of engineering deliverables.- Work with the Production department to provide technical assistance during the manufacturing process.- Understand project requirements and provide operational support while in the field.- Mentor Electrical Engineers and Technologists.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience.- Excellent design standards and strong troubleshooting skills.- Effectively focus on high level project objectives while executing detailed design tasks.- Demonstrated technical skills along with a proven track record for success.- Experience in the design specification, installation and connection methods of electrical equipment.- Solid written and oral communications skills (technical reporting).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team environment.- High degree of organization, with the ability to prioritize task.PREFERRED SKILLS- Experience with the following would be considered an asset:#J-18808-Ljbffr
