Located on the UNB campus in Fredericton, REDS Recreation seeks a part time Clinical Exercise Physiologist Instructor for a one-year term. This role emphasizes leading progressive fitness programming, assessing individual fitness needs, and training others. Your expertise will assist in providing both personal and group fitness services tailored to various populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and evaluate programs for special and healthy populations
• Develop exercise prescriptions and fitness plans for members
• Mentor and train other instructors in fitness programs
• Conduct individual and group fitness assessments
• Provide personal training to clients with varying health conditions
Requirements:
• CSEP-CEP certification for Clinical Exercise Physiologist
• Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology or related field
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
• Experience with older adults and chronic conditions
• Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)
