Job Description

- Collecting andpreparing blood, urine, and tissue samples foranalysis
- Performingserological, bacteriological, biochemical, hematological,and microbiological examinations on samples
- Determines normal andabnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemicalanalyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastricjuices
- Conduct chemicalanalyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids and gastricjuices
- Documenting andreviewing the tested data
- Determining whethersample parameters fall within normal ranges and identifyingabnormalities




- Conserves laboratoryresources by using equipment and supplies as needed toaccomplish job results
- Provide medicaltechnology information by answering questions and requests

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degreein medical technology, clinical laboratory science,or a relevant field
- 2-4 years ofexperience as a medical technologist
- Ability to usecomplex medical equipment
- Certificate to workas a medical technician
- Advanced knowledge ofbiology and chemistry
- Proficiency inelectronic health record management systems, such as AdvancedMDand eClinicalWorks
- Solid interpersonal,verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency ininventorizing supplies and maintaining laboratory equipment

Required Yearsof experience: 2-4 Years of experience

Salary: $19.00 - $33.75 perhour
