The role involves working onhigh‑volume batch and online mainframe systemssupporting theend‑to‑end credit card lifecycle, ensuring stability, performance, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesMainframe Development – Credit Card SystemsDesign, develop, and maintainmainframe applicationssupportingcredit card issuing platforms .Account setup & card originationAuthorization & transaction processingDevelop and enhancebatch and online (CICS) programsfor large‑scale transaction processing.Technical ResponsibilitiesCOBOL / COBOL IIJCLCICSDB2Handlejob scheduling, restarts, abend resolution, and performance tuning .Performroot cause analysis (RCA)for production incidents and implement permanent fixes.Integration & Platform SupportSupport integrations with:Core banking and downstream systemsImplementscheme‑mandated and regulatory changesimpacting card processing flows.Participate inplatform upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives .Testing & Production SupportSupportunit testing, system testing, UAT,
