What will you do?
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes and template completions
- Drive control and governance enhancement initiatives to streamline operations
- Lead end-to-end flow analysis collaboratively across the CM Finance team
- Coordinate balance sheet attestation and SOD package reviews with stakeholders
- Improve efficiency of manual processes and identify better ways of working
- Partner with trading desks, risk management, operations, IT, and Finance functions on financial reporting projects
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- CPA or equivalent designation with strong IFRS accounting knowledge and internal controls expertise
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership mindset with sense of urgency
- Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively at all organizational levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to Capital Markets businesses with understanding of complex financial instruments, securities, derivatives, and debt/equity issuances
- Knowledge of RBC financial systems, EPM, and associated procedures
- Minimum 3 years of Financial/management reporting experience in financial institutions
