Parrish & Heimbecker is seeking a Commodity Accountant in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time position demands expertise in understanding commodity markets and P&L; analysis for the Grain division.

In this role, you will handle the month-end profit and loss analysis for both CAD and USD commodities, report results to traders, and assess commodity-related expenses thoroughly. Your work will ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, supporting the agricultural network that P&H; develops.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct month-end commodity profit and loss analyses • Provide timely P&L; communication to grain traders • Analyze expenses and freight costs to identify drivers • Complete monthly reconciliations for financial accuracy • Prepare and post manual journal entries accurately

Requirements: • Degree in accounting, finance, or related field • Enrollment in a CPA program is an asset • Experience in commodity or grain accounting preferred • Robust analytical skills with Excel proficiency • Organizational and time-management capabilities
