The Opportunity
Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Fort St. John Primary Care team. This Full-time position offers flexibility and the chance to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages. The NP will attach a patient panel and contribute to a collaborative, culturally safe care environment supported by physicians, other nurse practitioners, primary care assistants, and an interprofessional team. Key Responsibilities
Deliver longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population. Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination. Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals. Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills
Eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience In Primary Care Across The Lifespan.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed care. About The Clinic
The Fort St John Primary care facility located in Fort St. John.
The clinic has a team of family physicians and MOAs and shares its location with other clinics where Nurse Practitioners work. Northern Health’s approach to person and family-centered care involves creating health care teams, which include your doctor or nurse practitioner and other health care professionals, to provide a range of health care services. The quality-of-care increases by providing continuity of care over time and across settings and will result in better long-term health outcomes. Salary Range
New Graduate NP - $149,382 1 Year Experience - $156,851 2 Years Experience - $164,320 Incentives & Support
