- Assist patientswith hygiene activities such as toileting, bathing,brushing teeth, changingclothes.
- Support patients withtheir meals by feeding them.
- Regularly washclean.
- Monitor vital signsand report associated symptoms to a registerednurse.
- Provide and clean bedlinen.
- Assist patients withmobility problems to move.
- Transport sufferersthrough wheelchair or stretcher for remedy orsurgery.
- Carry messages,reports, requisitions and specimens amongdepartments.
- Maintain stock ofsupplies.
- May carry outpreservation duties which include helping with the set-up andpreservation of traction equipment, cleansing or sterilizingequipment, keeping and repairing equipment, and assembling,setting-up and working job-associated equipment.
- May shippingsufferers among care facilities.
- Take sufferers’ bloodpressure, temperature and pulse.
- Accompany suffererson out of doors leisure sports and carry out differentresponsibilities associated with affected person care andcomfort.
- Organize and suggestactivities with patients and accompany them.
- Monitor exercisesperformed by the patient.
- Prepare and transportpatients undergoing treatment and surgery.
- Distribute messages,reports, requests, and templates from one department toanother.
- Make the bed and keepthe room clean.
- Maintain inventory ofmaterials.
- Install, maintain,wash, disinfect and repair equipment.
- Transport patientsfrom one medical facility to another as required.
Requirements
- First experience as anurse’s assistant
- Kindness.
- Outstanding relationshipqualities.
- Able to work longshifts.
- Ability to lift andmove the patient.
- Must have goodcommunication skills and a desire to help others.
- Patience and theability to handle stressful situations may berequired.
- Must be an effectivecommunicator and a good problem solver.
- Must be efficient andprecise, yet sensitive to the needs of your customers.

Salary: $23.00 -$24.80per hour
