International Services for Students provides holistic programs and services to support the international, newcomer and refugee student experience at SFU and manages the University's Study Abroad Programs (formal exchange, study abroad, faculty-led field schools)
with over 130 partners around the globe to facilitate transformative international and intercultural learning prospects for SFU students.
About the Role
The Special Projects Manager is a key resource within the International Services for Students (ISS), responsible for the identification, design and implementation of a designated portfolio of high-priority projects in support of the overall goals and objectives of the ISS. The Manager provides leadership and support to the ISS to advance on university-wide projects, ensuring the achievement of quality standards, timelines, deliverables and risk mitigation. The role manages all phases of the project life cycle, from project planning, development to implementation, leading the delivery of regular project updates and communications.
