Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient procedures
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, including procedures such as fillings, extractions, and orthodontic adjustments
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accuracy and patient safety
Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic, documenting procedures accurately
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote optimal health outcomes
Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist




Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards in compliance with healthcare regulations

Skills
Proficiency with dental software platforms for scheduling, billing, and record management
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics to facilitate explicit communication
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques combined with excellent interpersonal skills for patient care
Basic knowledge of dental reception duties including appointment scheduling and insurance processing
Inventory management and equipment maintenance knowledge
Proper sterilization skill to meet regulatory requirements

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

dental assisting: 2 years (required)
