Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our agile restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food handling, and customer service within a fast-paced food industry setting. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions and cash handling procedures
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and refilling supplies
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas,



and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow

Experience
Previous food service or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous but not required
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is beneficial for providing outstanding guest experiences
Ability to work effectively in a team workplace within a fast-paced restaurant setting

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
