Our client is seeking an experienced Asphalt Raker to join our paving crew in Brampton. The ideal candidate must have prior experience using a lute to spread and level hot asphalt with precision and efficiency.

Job Title: Asphalt Raker (Experienced)
Location: Brampton, ON
Pay: $25 to$30/ hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday, as required)
Job Type: Full time

Job Responsibilities:
Rake, spread, and level asphalt to fine grade specifications
Use lute or rake to distribute asphalt mix on road surfaces and construction areas
Work closely with paver operator, roller operator, and crew members to ensure smooth and even surfaces
Assist in setting up job sites, including traffic control and site safety
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Job Requirements:
MUST have prior experience as an asphalt raker
Ability to use a lute/rake efficiently and accurately
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended hours
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
CSA-approved safety boots required

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
