Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a solid understanding of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical systems to ensure precision and safety in all welding operations. The Welder will contribute to the production of high-quality products across construction, ductwork, and manufacturing projects, supporting the company's commitment to excellence and safety.

Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine specifications and welding procedures
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to shape and assemble metal parts
Conduct rigging operations when necessary for lifting and positioning heavy components using cranes or forklifts




Operate machining tools such as calipers for exact measurements and quality control
Assist with assembly, fabrication, and installation of ductwork, structural components, or other metal structures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly
Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and technical expertise

Skills
Welder applicants will be required to have had at least 1 year aluminum specific welding and pass an aluminum welding test (basic skills)
Read and interpret shop drawings
Operate manual and semi-automatic equipment & various hand tools
Operate MIG aluminum welders; .035” wire. 1lb and 20 lb. spools
Detailed oriented and ability to read and understand Fabrication drawing (CAD)
Keep a clean and protected workstation
Custom Aluminum cutting or railing experience as asset
Must be permitted to work and live in lower mainland

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
