Our growing service team at Petrie Ford Sales (Kingston) Ltd. is looking for a PART TIME Service Department Assistant.

About Us

Petrie Ford has been Kingston’s Ford Store since 1949. The service department is one of the busiest in the Eastern Corridor. We service and warranty a wide array of client vehicles, with a large and loyal client base. Due to our growing service department, we are looking for a part time addition to the team. If you are interested in working in the automotive service industry but weren’t sure where to start, this is the position for you!

Service Department Assistant Responsibilities
Greeting clients promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor
Maintain electronic records, file service logs and update internal databases
Assist Service Advisors by verifying active Extended Service Plans, recalls and factory warranty
Daily filing of completed paperwork
Ensuring a clean and protected work space
Processing payments
Assist with warranty paperwork




General administration duties as assigned by the department manager

Qualifications
High school diploma
Basic understanding of automotive components, routine maintenance schedules and warranty processes
Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems like PBS preferred
Proficiency with MS Office
Ability to spend extended periods working on your feet

This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday.

On site parking is available

Salary: starting at $20.00 per hour.
