Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves productive shift operation of printing press equipment and ensuring smooth production processes within a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have experience as a printing press operator.

Responsibilities
Continually develop Press Operators, Press Associates, Slitter Operators and Lamination Operator skill sets
Maintain open lines of communications with your crew, Department Supervisor and other Lead Hands
Ensure that the daily production schedules are followed and reports are completed,
Ensure that finished product is packaged, labeled and recorded as per specifications
Notify the Department Supervisor of any quality, scheduling conflicts, production shortages, docket discrepancies, or other issues that may affect customer delivery dates
Through scheduled quality inspections, ensure that quality standards are maintained at all times
Assist in the set up of printing presses to ensure optimal quality and efficiencies are met
Trouble shoot the process as required
Ensure that safety standards are met and maintained at all times
Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed at all times
Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP)



and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements,
Adhere to all Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity,
Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)

Qualifications
Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
Experience in adaptable packaging printing is an asset.
Reliable attendance
Ability to work a rotating 12 hour Continental shift
Work overtime as required
Must work as a team player and show initiative in learning new tasks. Always approach any job in a healthy and safe manner
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Pay: $25.56-$31.37 per hour
